Job SummaryThe Coordinator will work under the direction of the Managing Director/Clinical Supervisor to assist with the day-to-day supervision and management of direct care teams. This includes ensuring that the clinic is providing optimal patient care, enforcing clinic policies and procedures, and meeting clinic standards and medical necessity. The Coordinator will also ensure that the clinic is operating efficiently, maintaining a smooth, positive, and patient-focused environment while collaborating with the Administrative Coordinator, Case Management Coordinator, and Intake Coordinator. In addition, the Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Clinical Supervisor/Managing Director with the day-to-day guidance of direct supervision of counselors and case managers, evaluating patients' progress, formulating a plan of care for patients, and assisting with staff performance management.

Role (What I Do): The position in question involves reporting to the Managing Director/Clinical Supervisor and assisting with the day-to-day operations of managing all treatment in the Therapy and Case Management Departments. The main goal is to ensure that the site is operating efficiently, providing optimal patient care, and meeting the standards of each program. The responsibilities include reviewing patient care plans, assisting with treatment planning, and providing clinical and administrative guidance on all case reviews and treatment team cases. The Coordinator will act as a liaison between departments and directly report to the Managing Director/Clinical Supervisor to ensure compliance and meeting clinic admission and continued stay standards and medical necessity.

Additionally, the Coordinator will be responsible for understanding both treatment options and business operations through effective collaboration with the Leadership Team. They will implement clinical supervision daily and complete patient care reviews, evaluating a patient's condition and formulating a plan of care. The Coordinator will gather a summary of the patient's history and progress, assess the patient's current condition and response to existing interventions, and provide guidance on the patient's care. The Coordinator will present patient care plan recommendations for approval from the Managing Director/Clinical Supervisor of all patient care plans.

The Coordinator will also be responsible for overseeing the admissions department and directly supervising the Intake Coordinator. Coordinator will be responsible for completing assessments to determine eligibility for services and levels of care and establish and maintain insurance authorization tracking. The Coordinator will act as a community liaison with the Intake Coordinator and assist with business development leads and attend community events/meetings.

Additionally, the Coordinator will lead weekly individual supervision with direct care staff, hold team meetings as needed, monitor and ensure completion of all clinical documentation, implement a review process of treatment plans and assessments, attend weekly administrative/leadership team meetings, communicate with Managing Director/Clinical Supervisor with treatment/department updates daily, lead weekly individual supervision as needed, and complete quarterly chart audits. The Coordinator will also communicate regularly with treatment team members and family, including referral sources, business managers, and owners as appropriate. Finally, they will assist with the management of the scheduling system of prospective patients and active patients, assist with Compliance/policy creation for FCCS, and assist with the evaluation and assessment of employee performance.
